Public & Commercial Sector

Boro Landscapes also works with the public and commercial sectors in providing consultancy services to local authorities, etc. in regard to garden design for green areas and public spaces in housing projects, libraries, parks, etc. It has also provided landscaping services to the local authority on a number of the major roadways throughout the south-east such as the Kilmacthomas By-Pass and the Carlow Inner Relief Road.

The company has also carried out a number of major commercial projects included among them:

• “Monart Destination Spa” just outside Enniscorthy. Tim and his team worked with Chelsea Gold Medal Winner Designer, Mary Reynolds,  on this unique and challenging project.
• “The Garden,” Ballintubbert House, Athy Co. Kildare http://www.ballintubbert.com/
  This was a very challenging project which involved the creation of a “Lutyens Garden”  to include a complete herbaceous garden, lakes and mature tree planting, creation of a nuttery which included a native hazel wood (Corylus Avellana).

The experience gained through working with architects and garden designers on such challenging and prestigious projects has given our team valuable and worthwhile experience which can be applied to any future projects of such a scale.
